Oakland's finest MACHINE HEAD finally release the long-awaited follow-up album to their ground-breaking debut, 'Burn My Eyes' On 24th March. Entitled 'The More Things Change..', the release sees the first material recorded with their 'new' drummer, Dave McClain (formerly with Sacred Reich). 'The More Things Change...' will be available on CD, Cassette and special limited edition Digipak. The latter features three extra tracks; 'My Misery', a cover of the Discharge track 'The Possibility Of Life's Destruction' and another cover, a guitar-free, full-on rap version of Ice T's 'Colors'.

The band will be in London for a midnight opening and signing session at HMV, Oxford Circus, London on Sunday 23rd March. As the minutes tick into Monday morning, the fans will be the first in the world to buy the new Machine Head album and will be able to get it signed by the band. HMV are expecting a large turnout SO get there early - the first 500 in the door will get a special exclusive Machine Head colour print.

Elsewhere at a chain of selected independent stores (see press for list of outlets), Roadrunner will continue with its Successful 'First Day Cover' campaign, whereby punters buying the album will be able to get a Special embossed Stamp On their album Sleeve, to make it an instant collectors item.

Look out for details at your local rock club of how you can hear the new album before anyone else. In association with Kerrang! magazine and ACP, a string of club nights have been set up across the country where fans can hear the record as well as pick up exclusive giveaways including sampler tapes, t-shirts, CDs, stickers, posters, etc. There will also be a draw for a grand prize - a bumper package of Machine Head goodies, including an advance tape of the album, a Machine Head bag, t-shirt plus rare and collectable Machine Head items.
